How to Measure Your Pupillary Distance (PD)
Answer
Why PD matters
Pupillary distance is the millimetre gap between your pupils. Lenses are optically centred using PD; even a few millimetres off can cause edge distortion and fatigue.
Measure it yourself
Stand 20cm from a mirror, hold a millimetre ruler against your brow, and close one eye at a time to read the scale. Repeat three times and average. Most adults fall between 54mm and 74mm.
Found in your phone: our AI measure guide can also estimate PD from a selfie during checkout.
